OPTIMA II LB Altimeter – Audible Skydiving Altimeter

Description

OPTIMA II LB Altimeters – Advanced Audible Altitude Awareness

OPTIMA II LB Altimeters provide skydivers with accurate and customisable audible altitude information throughout the skydive. Designed by Larsen & Brusgaard, the OPTIMA II combines precise altitude measurement with a comprehensive range of warning settings in a compact audible unit.

For skydivers who want an additional layer of altitude awareness, the OPTIMA II can be configured to provide audible warnings at selected altitudes during freefall and under canopy.

OPTIMA II Audible Skydiving Altimeter

The OPTIMA II LB Altimeter allows the user to configure warning altitudes to suit their individual requirements and type of skydiving.

Its audible warning system means important altitude information can be delivered without requiring the skydiver to look at a wrist-mounted or visual altimeter.

This makes an audible altimeter an excellent addition to a skydiver’s normal altitude awareness procedures and visual altitude instruments.

Customisable Altitude Warnings

One of the major advantages of the OPTIMA II is its flexibility. Warning settings can be configured for specific altitudes, allowing the unit to be adapted to different types of skydiving and personal preferences.

The OPTIMA II also provides additional warning functionality for use during canopy flight, giving the skydiver useful audible altitude information after deployment.

Compact Helmet-Mounted Design

The compact design makes the OPTIMA II suitable for installation in compatible skydiving helmet audible pockets.

Once configured, the unit provides clear audible information without interfering with normal movement or visibility.

Why Choose OPTIMA II LB Altimeters?

The OPTIMA II has become a popular choice for skydivers who want a dedicated audible altimeter from an established skydiving instrument manufacturer.

Key benefits include:

• Accurate altitude measurement
• Customisable audible warning altitudes
• Freefall altitude warnings
• Additional canopy warning functionality
• Compact and lightweight construction
• Suitable for compatible skydiving helmet audible pockets
• Designed specifically for skydiving
• Manufactured by Larsen & Brusgaard

An audible altimeter should complement good altitude awareness rather than replace a primary visual altimeter.
